The Firm is currently recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator to be resident in our Chicago office.

This position will report to the Payroll Manager providing support to all Firm personnel.


Process semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for US offices.

Verify managers process corrections and approve time cards.

Work within PeopleSoft to verify attendance is maintained and paid correctly.

Validate employee change requests and HRIS imports are processed correctly.

Process voids and manual checks.

Process wage attachments and garnishments.

Process terminations and leave of absence.

Work with ADP on payroll related issues.

Address employee questions concerning pay and/or payroll deductions.

Special projects as needed.

Provide support to Human Resource teams on various projects.

Provide audit support.

Process year-end—assisting in the review and distribution of employee W2.

Monitor and maintain department and Firm standards, policies and procedures.

These duties may be ongoing or adhoc in nature.

Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.

Experience & Qualifications

Payroll administration and high volume processing experience preferred.

ADP Workforce NOW, ADP reporting and PeopleSoft 9.0 system experience a plus.

Experience with time and attendance systems preferred.

Must have customer service, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to handle, produce and maintain confidential information.

Ability to accurately interpret and apply policies, procedures and laws related to payroll activities.

Proven ability to work within tight deadlines as well as successfully prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to resolve issues timely.

Ability to collaborate with peers to identify process improvements.
