Job Details:
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department identifies, measures, monitors and reports risks and exposures across the organization through the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and specifically through several risk programs, including but not limited to: risk reporting and data analytics, Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Program, Scenario Analysis Program, Operational Loss/Near Miss Program, Operational Risk Capital Methodology and the Risk Appetite Framework.

The ERM Analyst Associate position encompasses responsibilities for assisting with these programs as well as other tasks and initiatives including: data management;

Developing/updating policies and procedures;

Issue tracking; project plan management;

Risk reporting; and other activities as they arise.

Assist ERM team members with implementing, monitoring, assessing and reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of OCC’s risk management framework as they work with different business areas.

Develop a solid understanding of OCC’s Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) and assist business areas with questions.

Create and monitor key performance, key risk, and key control indicators to support management and board-level reporting

Analyze and verify information obtained from business areas for risk reporting

Create ERM risk reports and formulate correlations from results/data

Assist in identifying or developing tools or methods to track and monitor risk

Maintain and write risk policies and procedures

Track identified audit and exam issues as well as business area self-identified issues and communicate findings to the ERM team

Support the eGRC system implementation process

Prepare and review presentation materials for the Operational Risk Management Group

Support management with special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Technical Skills/Education:

Understanding of securities/derivatives markets and risk management required

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

Experience in designing and producing quality reports and presentations

Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate effectively in department and cross-departmental efforts

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Solid ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including experience using lookups, pivot tables and macros

Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics or related field preferred

1-2 years of experience working in a financial services company preferred
