Role Description and Responsibilities

The Patient Relations Program Manager reports to the SVP of Outreach and Managed Care Growth and is responsible for program design and leadership of our Patient Relations Manager team.

Patient Relations Managers (PRMs) are the insurance experts at each center.

They advocate for our patients by helping them navigate insurance options and bills as well serving as an insurance expert for our center-based teams.

Program Strategy and Cohort Leadership Establish goals and key outcomes for PRM Program each year and measure performance;

Proactively identify improvement opportunities Partner with people operations to design incentive and rewards programs to deliver business results for center based Patient Relations Managers Communicate with PRM team members throughout Oak Street geographies Partner with training team to develop training materials and onboarding for Patient Relations team members Serve as product owner for our Patient Relations IT System (SPROUT)

Issue Escalation, Analysis and Resolution Serve as escalation path for insurance and billing issues - identify trends and recommend solutions.

Communicate with payers regularly as issues arise
Other responsibilities as needed

What we’re looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for leadership over a crucial Oak Street Health program. We are looking for people that have:

3+ years work experience Experience advising patients on insurance options (managed care plan experience a plus)

Strong communication and presentation skills Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work across the organization

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor

Undergraduate degree Some travel required (25%) US work authorization
